 About Me

I am a Certified Massage Therapist and, and as an Idaho native, am pleased to be serving the people of the Treasure Valley.  I graduated from Carrington College's Massage Therapy Program with an admirable 4.0 GPA.  Not only do I serve the needs of the general public but I also look to give back to my profession in various ways. Currently I hold a position on the Carrington College Advisory Board and am an active member in good standing, holding professional membership status, in the American Massage Therapy Association.

Prior to beginning my career as a Massage Therapist, I spent 22 years working in both the medical field and the mortgage banking industry.  I loved the work that I did and found great success, fulfillment and reward during this time period.  However, my time spent in these other professions also allowed me to experience firsthand, the daily stresses found in the corporate world and the negative effects it can have on health and quality of life.  I had been accustomed to helping people meet needs and goals in their personal and financial life, but there was still something missing.  So I searched for yet another way to continue that journey of excellent service and find a way to help people reduce stress and create a better life.  This time focusing on the health of body, mind and spirit.

In addition to my training at Carrington College I have also received post-graduate training at The Upledger Institute in CranioSacral Therapy Level 1. Currently, I am enrolled with Dr. Michael Plyer, a local Boise Naturopath, and am studying advanced techniques in Myofascial, Structural Integration & CranioSacral therapy.  Always striving to better myself, I am committed to expanding my education and knowledge to offer my clients the newest and most advance techniques for both the care I provide and for client self-care.

I have a private studio that I work from most of the time, but am pleased to offer on-site services as      well.  I enjoy spending time out in the community and routinely am invited to participate, providing chair-massage at local events such as health fairs, corporate wellness screenings, Teacher Appreciation luncheons and sporting events.  If you have an event that you would like to schedule please contact me at 208-841-7483.
